The console's smooth texture allows for easy-to-clean and easy-to-manage maintenance. This sink is perfect in our 1918 home's powder room. We appreciate the reasonable price compared to what it would have cost to get a cabinet, countertop, and sink. The quality is good and our plumber had no issues installing it. Kingston's carrara marble tops are polished, but they are not sealed. Polished marble has a shiny surface and resists stains. Natural stone, even when polished, is still somewhat porous and does remain susceptible to etching by acidic compounds like fruit juice, vinegar, some cleaning solvents, etc. For customers that wish to further protect their investment, the marble can be sealed.
