I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Three-stage system provides professional results at home by sharpening kitchen and sports knives quickly and easily. Adjustable blade selector provides optimum sharpening angles. The blade selector adjusts the guides to the perfect angle needed for precision sharpening. Select thick for hunting knives, medium for chef's knives and standard kitchen knives, and thin for light blades like fillet or paring knives. Simply draw the knife through each slot a few times to achieve a razor-sharp edge. Stage 1 begins the sharpening process with a Sapphirite coarse-grinding wheel to create the proper angle. Stage 2 continues sharpening with a Sapphirite medium-grinding wheel giving the blade a precise edge. Stage 3 completes the process with an extra fine-grit ceramic wheel polishing the blade to an exact, razor-sharp edge.
