Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. This sink is a perfect size for a medium size kitchen or office sink. It was delivered very fast. Has not been installed yet, but it does come with the kitchen sink drain assembly. Miyabi 5000 FCD Shotoh, 13cm blade. The photos, or petty knife, is ideal for the preparation of smaller cuts of meat and fruit, and vegetables. It has a fine carbide steel core with a hardness that gives very good cutting edge retention and initial sharpness. The core is embedded in 48 layers of steel which gives each blade its unique Damascus-design pattern. Razor-like sharpness is achieved by a three-stage grinding, sharpening, and polishing process called Honbazuke honing. The entire length of the cutting edge can be used as there is no finger guard. For best care, wash by hand, and maintain and sharpen using whetstones. We’d recommend using a wooden chopping board as opposed to glass, ceramic, or stone boards as these will dull the cutting edge.

We chose a rectangular stainless steel undermount sink for our new outdoor kitchen space and I already love the direction it’s going. The sharp, clean lines give it a really modern look and it feels like it’s going to elevate the entire setup. The size is exactly what I was looking for and should provide plenty of usable space for prepping and cleaning outdoors. The front offset drain was a big selling point since it keeps it out of the main working area and makes the basin feel more open and functional. I also love that it includes a drain basket, such a simple but thoughtful detail. We did hit a minor setback with our timeline so it’s still in the box and not installed yet, but I’ll be sharing updated photos as soon as it’s in place.
