I’ve been through at least 5 different door locks and not one of them has held up like this one has. Installation was easy and quick, mostly because I’ve done this a few times already. The reason for 4 stars is because sometimes my fingerprint doesn’t work. I then have to type in the passcode when I was to lock and unlock the door. I also wish it came with 2 keys instead of one but that’s not a deal breaker. I don’t really use the app, but it’s there if I need it. I LOVE our new GE induction range. I have to admit, I was pretty uncertain about how I would feel about the change. The thing that bothered me the most was that my favorite skillet would no longer work well on the induction range. My husband purchased a beautiful cast iron skillet that I now love just as much. The range itself really does heat instantly. It can boil tap water in about a minute -- crazy! It is as easy to control as a gas range. The only down side of the range is on one side there are two burners that can be tethered together and operated together for a large pan - think rectangular pancake skillet. This feature is dumb because while the range top has markings indicating there would be even heating on the entire side of the range, including between the burners, that does not happen and you just have two separate hot spots on one large pan. I don't know why they did this. As to the oven, it is spacious -- you could definitely do a turkey. One of the racks pulls out of the oven, which is great. This means when you are doing something heavy or something you need to baste frequently, you don't have to lift it out of the oven -- you just pull out the rack. I like all of the features including the air frier. I should note that this is difficult to initially set up because the air frier will only work via an app on your phone. This means you need to set it up with wifi and that was pretty complicated. Once done, it's done forever (I hope!). The oven does not heat instantly like the range or like a gas range, but it also does not take as long as our old range. I feel like it takes about 12 - 13 minutes to heat up to 450, for example. The heat is even. I haven't used the self cleaning feature, but am glad it exists. I am also pleased with the storage drawer under the oven. It is large and easy to pull out.. Mary In Nor Cal. The ovens seem to work well and so far temperatures seem accurate. My biggest issue is the racks - the slide-out racks are GREAT, but they do take up extra room. I wish there was a flat rack available. Also, you get 3 racks for 2 ovens - 2 slide-outs and 1 floor rack. That means that you really can't load up both ovens at the same time. I am planning on purchasing a second floor rack for the upper oven. I have used the proofing setting (works fine) and bake, of course, but none of the other options yet. Oven surface is easy to wipe clean. One feature I would love in the app is an indication of the current temp of the oven. It shows on the oven itself, but not on the app (when preheating).. Jkl_co.
