Replaced 2 8 foot flourescent garage ceiling mount lights. Not user friendly with respect to mounting on ceiling where existing wiring penetrates. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. This is my 2nd time purchasing these recessed LED lights. Love how simple they are to install and with just a small box vs. canned lighting they can be used in tight places. I wanted a light in specific place in the bathroom we're remodeling, but the location was right off of a beam. Haven’t installed yet, but these were a great value on sale! I’ve seen some places charging 80 per light and the cheapest other option was still 40. Since I have to buy a large volume of these, a savings of 5-10 per light realllllly adds up! The lights look high-end. Flat to the ceiling for a modern vibe. They are perfect for vaulted ceilings, and the kelvins are good. I gave them 4-stars because one of the lights had a slightly different hue to it. We ordered 3000k, but one of the lights has an amber undertone.
