I am in LOVE with this mirror! I absolutely love it. Though I must admit when I received it I thought I was missing pieces for the install. I was not. You do install in it by hang it on two screws. I thought I would have been installed with a French cleat type hanger but it hasn't moved since it's been hung. For install assistance the mounting plate is 12" inches down from the top, 8" in on each side and 16" between the two mounting plates. Of course double check the measurements for yourself. I had ordered this mirror from another vendor at a better price but it arrived broken and was then sold out so know I had to love it to pay the increased price for the same device and not just find an alternative. AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! You will see from the pic it's oversized in my space a bit. I mean if it were a inch bigger on either side it may have been a no go (without having to move my overhead light) and I would have been heartbroken.
