This is my second one. My first one got so corroded from the very hard water here that I just couldn’t use it any longer. Was going to go with a less expensive one but you get what you pay for. The digital timer is great especially the “warm” setting. If the rest of my dinner isn’t ready I can leave the veggies keep warm in the steamer. However, the lid was cracked all around the knob. The weight of the knives is just right. They cut wonderfully. I sliced through a slightly soft tomato like it was butter. I was able to cut through homemade sourdough bread easily without any frustration. Cleaning has been a breeze with no issues. I have always hand washed my knives and let them dry and these have done great with that system. One thing I really like is that the knives are labeled.
