I thought it was nearly perfect in the design but I think one of the attributes is not ideal. The hammock in the middle is kinda low to the platform below it, making it kinda difficult for the cat the get from the platform to the left of the hammock to the next one, slightly higher on the right. I wish the hammock was a board or higher up. Other than that, it’s really good. My friend and me built it in under an hour. I got it because it’s just about 18” below the tops of my kitchen cabinets. So she can climb the tower then traverse the cabinet tops. I have been thinking about removing the hammock and replacing it with a board. We shall see. This tower is pretty good. It is sized for adult cats instead of kittens when most cat furniture is not. The cat shown in the photo is approximately 16 pounds and it fits them perfectly. I will say it doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as I was anticipating but I do feel it will hold up for many years. This all wood cat tree was very easy to assemble in 10 minutes. No tools needed. Just screw in the threaded pole and 2 of beds tight. Plus vacuum it and you are done. My cat jumped right into the nice size 15” wide bed there. Its plenty sturdy for my 2 - 12 lb. cats. And has a nice firm 24” x 20” sq. wood base . The reason i gave it 4 stars because IT IS NOT CHOCOLATE BROWN as pictured which is what I wanted. It is a med beige tan, see photo. Disappointing but I am keeping it and my two cats love it.
