This cat tower is awesome. I was looking forward to putting this together but the husband beat me to it. It only took him a hours. This included a couple redos because, as others mentioned, the picture instructions are not straight forward. He also used better tools than the wrench it comes with. This tower is pretty good. It is sized for adult cats instead of kittens when most cat furniture is not. The cat shown in the photo is approximately 16 pounds and it fits them perfectly. I will say it doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as I was anticipating but I do feel it will hold up for many years. I thought it was nearly perfect in the design but I think one of the attributes is not ideal. The hammock in the middle is kinda low to the platform below it, making it kinda difficult for the cat the get from the platform to the left of the hammock to the next one, slightly higher on the right. I wish the hammock was a board or higher up. Other than that, it’s really good. My friend and me built it in under an hour. I got it because it’s just about 18” below the tops of my kitchen cabinets. So she can climb the tower then traverse the cabinet tops. I have been thinking about removing the hammock and replacing it with a board. We shall see.
