But the flexibility, and relative ease (its still an air conditioner!) of taking it in and out of the window to only use when needed has been amazing. Its so quiet in my son's bedroom, but keeps him cool during his afternoon naps and has kept his room cold enough for the occasional too hot nights. I can turn it on and off with my phone so I don't have to go inside, and its so much quieter and cheaper to run than my old portable AC. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This Lotus Multi-Function Cooker and Dutch oven is a beast of a kitchen tool. It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room.
