It is easy to install and quiet to run - it took me about an hour to install as a novice. Some of that time was spent emptying stuff from under my bar sink. I have nothing but good things to say about this system except for its size. For what it does, I’m not sure it could be smaller. However, it is LARGE. Because of my plumbing and the presence of a garbage disposal, getting this system in my cabinet took some doing and didn’t leave a lot of room for much else. I’d love for it to be smaller. I also think it would be nice for it to come with a CO2 bottle. Needing to buy additional pieces for such an expensive system lessens the luxury experience this system otherwise imparts. I’d recommend this to anyone for their home, particularly heavy seltzer drinkers like us. I also like being able to custom set the temperature of warm water to make bottles for my baby.. Stephanieg. The Mr. Scrappy disposer dual outlet air switch is used to operate a food waste disposer and one other item such as a hot water dispenser or trash compactor. The outlets are turned on and off by air pressure created by pushing the button. The air travels from the button, through the air tube which is connected to the air switch inside the electrical box. One outlet has power at a time. The air switch alternates outlets in order to prevent a breaker blowout that can occur when powering on 2 items at the same time that exceed your circuit breaker’s maximum amperage. The air switch button can be installed through the sink top, the counter top, or inside the cabinet.
