This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. I like the efficiency and endless supply of hot water. Like other hot water products the only negative is waiting for the water line to clear of cold water to clear before getting hot water. This happens for any system unless a homeowner adds a recirculation pump with a timer etc. Those additions with the extra cost are to me not worth it. Out of the box, this griddle will NOT fit a Prestige 450, but I found it was easily altered to fit. As it is designed to fit the larger surface area of a Prestige 500, the rear spacer needs 1/4” cut off each side, and a small notch cut (see attached photos). The griddle is also too large front to back, but a couple of self-tapping screws along the back edge and inside the front lip of the barbecue prevent any movement. This griddle is really well made. Being stainless steel, there’s no seasoning needed - just clean with water after use to steam clean any food residue off. This product is a replacement for the 6kw unit that i had for 10 years. I actually don't have a use for the lights and speakers as my shower is already done. Not very happy with the programmability of the unit. You can only run the unit in 30 min increments. So if it takes 15 minutes to get up to temp you have to run it for another 30 + 15 remaining from the preheat. Maybe I'll find a way to not have to add 30 min.
