As a collector of statues, especially those of dancers, I was thoroughly impressed when I saw this particular statue on the Wayfair website. I especially like the gold tone against the black base. The extension of the dress as the dancer is kicking her feet high up in the air is reminiscent of some of the actual performances that I’ve seen over the years of various live dance performances. The ample size statue makes a very positive statement with my living room decor. I have received many compliments from family and visitors to my home and they are impressed with the realness of this piece which I have added to my collection. The statue is very well-made and I am certain that it is durable and, I don’t feel that the paint or material would chip easily. The dynamic appearance under the light as well as the subtle color when the light is dimmed sets a different mood when I am relaxing and playing music. I imagine the dancer performing on stage.
