The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. This was a breeze to apply. Simply shook the container to mix the contents and then applied with a paint roller. Avoided work during direct sunlight hours. Re-applied until the container was empty. This fixture is great! The perfect size and incredibly bright. I installed it by myself, which is always a bit challenging just in terms of holding everything up while attaching wires and screwing things back together, but a couple of notes 1. The cables that adjust the height are VERY long- if you plan on using them somewhere where they need to be much shorter (like in my case) you will need to cut them which involves cutting 2 cables and 3 electric wires which you will then need to strip, splice and tape thoroughly back together. 2. The “color” adjuster is inside the fixture, so you really can’t adjust it easily- I thought I had this turned all the way to warm, but it doesn’t look like it.
