After researching a lot of options, I chose this safe due to its greater capacity to resist higher temperature fires and standing for several days in water, as well as its certification for holding small firearms. it's a compact size with a heavy-duty design. The extra mechanical keys are great to have in case there is a problem with the electronic keypad. The shelves are padded and there is additional storage in the inside of the door. It's helpful to have the bolt-down kit that will deter anyone from attempting to remove the safe from its location.
