This is a custom-built fireplace mantel. Made out of pine wood planks, this Fireplace Mantel Shelf is designed to look like a solid piece of a log but without the heavy weight or heavy price tag! We fell in love with this mantel. Our decor is light and curved, and the mantel that was present when we moved in was a painted white 2x4. So, after looking for something for 2 years, this popped up as new. It didn't have a lot of reviews, but I decided to take a chance. And I am glad we did! We ripped out a black piece of slate, and had a porcelain hearth built, and tile on the back wall behind where the hearth would go. The piece arrived very securely packaged, which is good, because it is HEAVY. You will need a couple of people to help you get it in. It was pretty simple to put together. The two sides attach securely to the top. there are a few other pieces of wood to ensure there are no gaps, and that it does attach securely to the wall. The curves are lovely and make this a unique piece. The quality of the wood is great. Solid. This looks like a very high quality mantel. For use indoors or out, this ASTM E136 non-combustible mantel shelf was cast from a patented molding material using a found piece of Limestone capturing, to perfection, the nuances and subtle details of this age-old stone. The chiseled front edge springs to life through the artistry of a meticulously hand-painted finish. Made in the USA, this shelf has a 9-inch depth allowing for ample room on top for personal effects. Due to the natural imperfections captured from the Limestone, the top of the mantel shelf will have natural offsets and depressions and the dimensions will vary slightly, i.e. shelf height and depth will be marginally different across the entire mantel. 5”H x 9”D 100lbs. When mounting your mantel, adhere to the “clearances to combustibles” specifications of your fireplace insert or stove.

Beautiful mantel quality as expected worth the price highly recommend. The product quality is super however I did not like the wayfair delivery left the package at the door without double checking the product because this product has marked as non refundable so be careful its better to be there and ask the delivery guys open the box and double check everything.
