I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. Pro: Great wet vac! Did a much better job at stain removal than I expected. Oil based stain in my seat came completely out. Several winters of caked in mud and salt came right out of my floorboards, leaving them looking new. Easy to clean the vacuum when you're done using it. Con: The dry vac only seemed to be an afterthought. For a vacuum designed for a car it was clunky and didn't reach well under seats or in crevices. Did an ok job, but left a LOT behind. I have used it for a few games and didn’t do as well as my 219.00 one which has a rubber looking tip and a hole to screw in an extender, there are complaints with the extender in due to there not being enough space needed for one of the ping-pong tables. It’s a bit cramped need for more space at ping-pong tables 1. My 219.00 one has a fiberglass narrow end toward the tip. I would have a better result if I just fatten the tip a bit.
