Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did. It is absolutely beautiful. I received it on Thursday, had it installed on Friday and cooked with it for the very first time this morning. It is twice as beautiful as any picture I could not imagine somebody not just being over the moon with this oven. We needed to quickly replace the grates on our Thermador range and these were exactly like the original heavy duty grates, fit perfectly, at a much better price than elsewhere, and arrived to us very quickly. It's hard to find a replacement for a gas downdraft cooktop, but this one is great! Burners are stronger than previous cooktop (not GE). Downdraft works much better, doesn't pull flames from burners. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. The gas range is very powerful, the iron grill is sturdy and offers a flat top (no pot or pan wiggling!) for the entire range. This feature is helpful in a small kitchen with limited counter space. Other reviewers are correct when saying the temperature dial needs to be set above the needed temp to get a correct preheat. Remedy with a hanging oven thermometer. Do not, I repeat, Do not get the ‘GE Installation’ service with this appliance. Even if you buy an installation kit. The technician will come in, excuse in hand, and will tell you that any dust, or light green on the gas pipe disallows them to service the installation. (When plumbers test for gas leaks upon installation they spray a little water on the line, leading to a light green) Be ready with your own plumber on the day of delivery.
