These stands seem very sturdy, they look nice and I think they are a good size. They did take a while to assemble, because of so many screws by me using a screwdriver. Great garden bed. Instructions are vague as to the order of assembly and a bit tricky to assembly for one person because it's 4' x 8' (it's about 4" short of the 4x8 on both ends but still lots of room) but with a second person as extra set of hands, it went fairly quickly. The is contact paper is only on the outside of the panels. I suppose it's optional to remove but me being OCD, I removed it all. A bit time consuming but worth it. All the sides are 1 ft tall so the sides are two rows tall to get close to 2ft. Here's a tip to save you time... make sure the bottom of the top row panel overlaps on the outside of the top of the bottom row panel. Keep everything UNTIGHTENED until it's all together. Then go around and tighten it up. The rubber stripping is nice. It's snug and you get more than you need to be prepared to cut it to length. Consider wearing some kind of protective gloves so you don't get cut on the edges... I didn't wear any but I was diligent in handling the panels. Overall, great garden bed. Buddy. Bartlett, IL. It took me 20 minutes to set it up but probably would have been 15 if I didn’t put the legs on backwards the first time. I’m 5’ tall and standing behind it the unit comes up to my chest, a great height to be able to tend to the tomatoes I planted on top! Also love that the pots have a couple drainage holes in them. Case in point: we took down four trees, and a decent-sized branch smacked directly into the side of one of these beds and barely left a dent. That alone changed my opinion. Now that they’re up, filled, and doing their job, I’m happy with the purchase. While I’m not necessarily complaining about the price, I would definitely suggest waiting for a better deal.
