It’s a beautiful shower door. Heavy. I was hesitant on ordering based on a couple of the low reviews. We didn’t install it ourselves our contractor did. It was difficult to find the shower door I wanted for our tiny bathroom and this was perfect. I have one of those bathrooms reminiscent of the 1990s despite my home being built in the early 2000s. Big garden tub that never gets used with a stall shower next to it. The shower was so gross. Metal all rotted, difficult to slide the door. I would love to redo the bathroom entirely, but I thought let's just try a new door to start. It truly has refreshed the bathroom so much. I wish I could figure out how the heck to replace/get rid of the half glass wall but that'll have to come next. I did have to get a height that was just a smidge too big too, as my measurement wasn't found anywhere. I love the modern look and floating style. The instructions were subpar, omitting written language in favor of images, arrows, and numbers on the cabinet base instructions. I’m handy with tools and was able to modify a few things to make it work. Firstly, pieces 4-8 have an end with larger holes. These holes go against pieces 1 and 2. I wish the instructions had said that! Second, the hangers did not work in the ore-drilled hole location. I had to move them toward the front of the cabinet and loosen the hanger before screwing them to the cabinet. That was the only way to get the cabinet pulled in close to the wall. Third, I wanted the unit mounted to studs so I added a couple holes in the top strap where the studs were. I hate drywall anchors, especially the cheap ones included in the kit. If you’re going to use drywall anchors, you’re better off using the screw-in type or toggles. Lastly, FYI the drain pipe kit that comes with the sink is 1-1/4” flexible pipe.. Hallie. Raleigh, NC. I love our new main bathroom shower door. This is only the second glass shower door we have installed. The first was in our secondary bath and from the same company. Both of the doors have been fantastic quality and not too bad to install. It was scary to handle such heavy glass, but with two people it ended up being quite easy. Best of all, no more shower curtains!!! The door rolls smoothly and opens and closes nicely. They were shipped quickly and were extremely well packed. I am very happy with my purchase and would do it again. For a weekend DIY project this was pretty amazing. A few tips to help install go easier. You need two people. You will want to purchase a good diamond tip drill bit if you are drilling through tile. Watch the video under this product. It gives you a good idea of how the install goes.
