It’s a great little desktop humidor, currently sitting on my kitchenette countertop. Seasoned twice with distilled water to get the humidity under control and then threw in a Boveda 60g pack in the bottom drawer to maintain the proper humidity. Two notes: the attached hygrometer is non-adjustable and way off (as they always are) AND this bad boy is currently only holding 31 cigars of various sizes. It would hold way more if I were storing Coronas, for example, but it’s perfect for what I need it for: to hold my cigars that are next up in the rotation. I own several large cabinet humidors, and I was excited for this one to arrive due to his appearance. What a huge disappointment when it arrived. It did not come with any open path for humidity to flow through the back of the cabinet. It was not designed well. I have had cigars inside this cabinet for two months now. The cabinet has individual drawers that keep your cigars separated and this drawers DO NOT keep the humidity. The cabinet has now air flow, it does not keep the cigars drawers humid and it is a constant battle just to maintain the humidity at 65% I DO NOT recommend this cabinet humidor to anyone.. Santiago. I am happy with this purchase. It was packaged well, and even arrived a day early. After seasoning the humidor, I did put a Xikar hygrometer in it, because this unit does not have one. It does have temperature control, and a cool light. I live in Michigan, and sometimes my home is around 60 degrees. My temperature on the humidor is holding well at 70. The shelves are more durable than the Newair CC-300 I used to own ( those were stapled together, and fell apart easily). I do like the Boveda holders that slide under the racks. The pegs are also a nice gesture, if they fit into the holes properly. Are there areas for improvement….Yes! Is it better than the last model …Yes! Is it fairly priced…Yes! I was disappointed in the piece - I thought I was buying a larger cubic foot humidor, but less than half the volume seems to be actual humidor space. There is a drawer on the back not mentioned in description or any images. Alot of unused volume is not humidor space.
