Easy to install ,nice door ,my opinion i would stay closer to the 48 inch size opening like 46 to48 ,i know it only another 2 inches to the 44 inches it says it can fit but it doesn't leave alot of room for the opening , it will work just suggest the person using the shower be on the smaller side.. I can only review this on look and packaging at this time because I haven't been able to install it yet. But it came nicely packaged and it looks like it has everything I need to install it. I got it because I have a smaller shower and it was the only one I could find that would fit. Which from the look of it, it will. It is a really nice, sturdy door, and it pivots instead of slides.
