Soooo I think I saw that it was white and assumed it was painted and ready to go, but it does need to be painted. It is primed, but if you look at the closeup you can see it is unfinished. Needs a light sanding and paint. It is beautiful though. I ordered a barn door from Wayfair from a different maker and it came fully boxed, whereas this one came wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and had boxing only at the top and bottom and was missing the rail to mount it. The first door I ordered was damaged in transit and it didn’t even make it to me before being returned to Wayfair. A couple weeks after I ordered it, I messaged Wayfair and they went ahead and ordered a replacement that was here in 2 days. Always choose Wayfair for their incredible customer service. I am giving this five stars because everything came intact. I could see once I get it up it will be exactly what I wanted. However, I was not thinking when I ordered it that my thermostat would be in the way. The reason why I do not have a picture of it fully up yet is because now I have to figure out how to bring it out at least by 2 inches so when the door slides back it will not interfere with the thermostat. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out I'm thinking about getting a 2x4 board to go across my wall and then I think I could attach everything else. For the past few months, I’ve been updating all the doors in my home, switching them from white to black. When I came across this door, I decided to order it for my closet to add a different design and save myself from having to paint another one. Ordered (3) 30"x80" of these hollow core doors, went through 3 replacements because they kept getting damaged in transit, these are the one that were delivered as good, still had to patch them with wood filler, sand and paint. They only arrive wrapped in plastic, suggestions to the manufacturer at least use cardboard for protection of the delicate hollow core doors. Got these doors for my shoe closet and I couldn’t be happier. Very happy with this door. The Shaker style is simple and modern, and it fits perfectly with the rest of my home’s design. The primed surface was smooth and ready to paint, which made finishing it quick and easy. The door feels solid and well-constructed—not flimsy at all like some other interior doors.
