It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room. My husband LOVES watching the birds in the backyard. I thought he would enjoy this bird feeder when the weather is rough and he cannot sit outside. He decided our bedroom window is where he wanted it and proceeded to install. It had a gap on the top that he somehow fixed. I think some cuts were involved. Please be advised that it may need some alterations to fit in your space as well. As far as quality goes, this is an all wooden feeder. It is beautifully made-nice quality.
