This was very simple and easy to use the buttons were self explanatory, but i also cam with a help instruction book and power cable. We set it up turned it on Auto. With this feature it turns on and off on its own, more of a set it and forget it. After its first night went out and checked on it and had clearly attracted and kill LOTS of bugs. Unfortunately I have to give this a one star. The nylon is very thin and tore at the bottom within 2 days of use exposing the bottom pole. The zipper was not put in evenly and hence does not work well, pulling apart at the top seam. The support bars fall down because the holders don’t support well enough.
