This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. However, it doesn't easily suck up thing like Cheerios and chocolate chips that my toddler leave behind. That part is frustrating. I still need a broom to pick up larger items.. Douglas. I should probably ask my contractor to review this product, since I didn't have to install it myself. All I can say is that it looks great and opens and closes smoothly. If you're not experiencing this with yours, then maybe it was the installer's fault. One drawback is that it's not very tall. At 5'7", I can step into my shower without ducking. My sons (5'10") would have to duck, as does my 6'2" boyfriend. But maybe that's standard now? Whatever.
