Overall pretty happy with the cabinet. I had to install it surface mounted as I did not have the framing depth to recess it. The included screws for mounting should definitely not be used, the drywall anchor would be incredibly insufficient and fail with moderate loading of the cabinet. I installed backing in the framing prior to drywall and was able to mount it with two large screws. I also wish the electrical was able to be connected from inside the cabinet. Instead, the cabinet is delivered with a 16ga stranded wire whip that comes out of the top of the cabinet. This means that to have the cabinet lay flush to the wall I had to put a small junction box at the top of the cabinet that I will have to cover with trim later. The lighting is a great accent but insufficient as a sole light source for a bathroom if you are thinking about using it as such. Really wanted this cabinet for the interior outlets so I could keep my toothbrush out of sight, and for that it has been great. The door hinges seem to be of decent quality, they offer standard adjustments and provide a great soft close, hopefully they last. I loved this medicine cabinet so much I had two ordered. One which is part of a bathroom remodel which will be recessed vertically, 36 x 30 and another to be installed in a 2nd bathroom and recessed horizontally 30 x 36. Most functional and quality mirror we've found. Pros: Has it all: Medicine Cabinet, Mirror LED, Dimming, Color, Defog, Interior Outlet with USB A/C, adjustable shelves, interior light, and soft close hinges. Cons: Touch controls are too bright at night. Shelves only adjustable with cabinet out of the wall. Top shelf isn't useable due to power cables. Interior light only lights upper most shelf. We bought two of this - one in left and the other in right hand opening configuration. They were mounted into the wall as a medicine cabinet should be. For another bathroom we got a SIMILAR mirror but these have superior hinges and features. Look closely when buying these types of medicine cabinets. Look for soft close hinges, power inside, lighting, etc. Unfortunately our mirrors face the opening of the bathroom to the bedroom. This is a really awesome vanity mirror! I ordered the 60 inch. Its not too heavy. It mounts with screws and molly anchors. We will use metal ones we have on hand instead, but Im sure the ones that it came with would be great. The high-rated CRI will protect your eyes from glaring light, as well as maintain a true color saturation for food prep - what you see is what you get! The fixture body is thin enough to place under or over the cabinets, which is great news for cabinets with shallow edges/lips, the fixture will go unseen after it is installed. The Installation process of this model is simple, the fixture can be attached to the cabinet with 2 captive mounting screws, and with the clear instructions that come with the package, you should have it installed in no time. Please note that the hardware kit is included and packed inside the wiring compartment, make sure to unscrew and open the wiring compartment for access.

Were very happy with this medicine cabinet, especially for the amount of storage it adds. It has significantly reduced bathroom countertop clutter while maintaining a modern look. Installation was fairly straightforward if youre familiar with French cleat mounting, but the instructions were vague and the diagrams lacked detail. We also had one of the included drywall anchors break during installation and needed to replace it. The storage features are excellent. The included toothbrush holder and organization cups are well designed, and the adjustable shelves provide plenty of space for toiletries, skincare products, and other essentials. The LED lighting is bright without being harsh and provides even illumination. The defogger works well, although it seems most effective in the center of the mirror. One thing to note is that the power cord is quite short, so you may need an extension cord depending on your outlet location. My only real complaint is that the surface-mounted design sticks out from the wall more than Id prefer.
