Pito is a stainless steel kettle designed by Frank Gehry. The melodic top and the handle in mahogany have the stylized shape of two darting fishes. The melody produced by the whistle is likewise peculiar, it sounds like a whale's song. Gehry turned a kitchen utensil into a fascinating poetic object.

This collection was Alessi's only model of cutlery. Despite the grim prospects forwarded by those in the sector, the collection proves that its innovative shape and resolute style, along with extreme manageability and an excellent finish, can weather the storm. Over the years, the Dry model has opened up the road for us and various other cutlery sets, though it has always remained well up among the leaders.

Following his interest in tradition and good food, Virgil Abloh designed Conversational Objects as "toolsets for the dining table". With its garage-inspired design, the Conversational Objects 16-piece cutlery set and cutlery holder are meant to encourage conversation and conviviality at the dining table. This set, produced in matt-finish stainless steel, is paired with a cutlery holder, with a similarly opaque finish to resemble a threaded bolt.

An ironic tribute to a real woman, Anna G.s smiling face has become something of a cult figure over the years, a real, bonafide, design portrait. With the Colour Tales collection her unmistakable smile returns with a small series of new colour versions, a tribute to the chromatic research of the designer, Alessandro Mendini.

Kristiina Lassus was born in Helsinki in 1966, she studied at the University of Industrial Arts, at the Polytechnic, and at the Konstfack Academy of Industrial Arts in Stockholm. She worked as an interior architect, designer, and design manager in Helsinki, Brisbane, and Milan. She has lived in Italy since 1997 and now works as a designer and advisor.

This fork is suppose to be used for spaghetti but I end up reaching for it for other dishes also. I wish it had an extra inch added to the handle so it would be more balanced. It is very top heavy and doesnt balance well on the side of the bowl, so it falls in. We have had it for a few months and no chipping of the plating, it still looks in good condition.. Pablo. The tea saucer of the Dressed series is ideal for making every moment of the day special. The scalloped edge and embossed decoration on the entire surface of the saucer transform it into a precious object, capable of making every table unique. It is suitable as a complement to tea time and it can also be used to serve sweets or appetizers. The saucer is made of white porcelain like the other objects of the Dressed tableware.

The pepper castor has been in the Alessi catalog since 1978 and belongs to the historical production. Ettore Sottsass, internationally recognized as one of the initiators of the revolution in design has conceived this salt castor that has become a classic, a true archetype of the restaurant industry and private service, an "essential" object, with its proportions, lightness, and function.

A revolutionary Moka that combines the technology developed by illycaffè and the design experience of Alessi. Designed by Michele de Lucchi, Pulcina encapsulates a small but substantial design innovation that stops dispensing the drink at the right time before the coffee gets a bitter aftertaste. This helps to enhance the full and rich aroma of this drink. The spout, which recalls a chick's beak (hence the name of the coffee maker) allows it to perfectly stop the drop.

This Santiago 18/10 stainless steel dinner knife, has a mirror-polished finish, designed by the English architect David Chipperfield. Attention to 'continuity of form' makes the grip appear soft in style yet the overall design is startling, despite its apparent simplicity.

I have a lot of parties and somehow have ended up with little to no forks so I was very happy to see that there just forks available. These forks are super nice, heavy weight, unique looking. The Nuovo Milano knife is a small masterpiece of design and production technique. A full and round shape corresponds to particularly lightweight and easy-to-handle cutlery. The secret is in the empty handle inside, obtained through a remarkable production process.

For Achille Castiglioni objects had to fulfill two essential requirements: They should offer practical solutions to the small problems arising while “being at the table,” possibly with intelligent functional innovation, and they should also satisfy the public’s taste, for example, for the finish of the metal.

The interplay between natural aluminum and the colored tank highlights this mechanical inspiration, while a palette drawn from the tools and machinery of the Alessi workshop reinforces its refined, technical character.

The collection features a lovely design, characterized by a sculptural approach: elegant, new, and pleasing plates, containers, and cups made from different materials and in different colors. This complete set opens the evolution of being on the table at the same time with its gaming component, and its attitude to change in the composition of the items on the table. They can easily be placed side by side like a welcoming pile of petals.

Once upon a time, coral could be found all over the Mediterranean and it was exported across the world in exchange for spices and perfumes. Designer Emma Silvestris has skillfully explored the imagery of the sea world to create this basket, which embodies the essential forms and levity of the organisms that populate the ocean. Designed in 2004, this basket paved the way for the Mediterraneo series.
