In 1975 he started working as a designer and collaborated with companies such as Baleri and Zanotta. He was awarded the Compasso d'Oro prize in 1981. He has published several books among which, L'Architettura della imprevedibilità (1970), La caffettiera di Pulcinella (1987), Progettare senza pensare (1998).
