Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. I haven’t installed these lights yet, but I chose them based on their brightness, design, and positive reviews. Clear Globe G40 LED Replacement Light Bulbs for Indoor Outdoor String Lights

These lights hang swagged along the ceiling edge my 40’ front porch. This is the second year (2026) they have been put up. I have them plugged into a timer so every night they go on at dusk and off at midnight. I have never had to replace the any of the bulbs yet. The bulbs are plastic, but do not look like glass. I bought them specifically for that reason because the previous string came down in a windy storm leaving glass shattered everywhere.
