I really expected the material to be thicker and stronger, which it isnt, but overall Im happy with the product. I was able to organize all my odds and ends well because it has plenty of space. One important thing to keep in mind is that if youre going to put shelves on it, they cant be too tall if youre going to mount it on the walls. I think up to 70 cm is fine. It took a day to assemble. I hired the crew from Handy via Wayfair. I bought the sheet shingles for the roofing since it doesn’t come with the kit and they were able to place it. I paid for a concrete slab to be made for it. Overall the whole project was about 4500. I am located in Florida and I will have to strap it down in case of a hurricane and hope for the best.. Ivana. The doors are pre-assembled and pre-hung and comes with complete system. The shed doors come with a durable, rust-resistant swivel hasp and galvanized steel hinges. Hinges are continuous from top to bottom to prevent sagging. Smartside siding is treated to prevent fungal decay and insect infestation.

The exterior walls are so thin that I would never recommend stapling a vapor barrier on the interior because the Staples come through on the outside even if they are very short. The frame beams are twisted and crooked, overall it is a poor quality kit. The instructions are easy, however the quality of the wood is very poor. I thought I was getting a good deal but I was not.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently got this shed and love it! I was really drawn to the exterior and the overall style of the shed. It compliments our house so well. I liked the added gable above the door, the details of the windows in the doors, as well as the window (which actually opens to give additional airflow) with cute shutters really give it a lot of personality. The exterior really does have the look and texture of wood, but I'm thrilled I won't be having to paint it every few years. It is not just a basic functional shed, it actually improves the overall look of our yard. This shed is also very functional. It has steel posts in each of the walls and steel rafters so it is very well built and sturdy. We live in an area prone to a lot of wind so I was initially concerned about the durability of the material, but once we built it, I'm confident it'll stand up great. I also really love the attention to storage detail. It comes with two shelves included that span the entire width of one wall, and lots of options on locations on several walls to hang them. There are tons of spaces and kits you can buy for additional shelving if you need. The shelves are reinforced with metal rods and very stable. I also liked the hooks that it comes with that attach the wall perfect for holding lawn tools or extension cords. The double doors open up very wide and we measured and our riding lawn mower will fit with no problem once we get it up and running this season. The doors also have a sturdy locking mechanism and are reinforced with steel so they are very secure. The second door has a pin mechanism to keep it shut, so you only have to open both doors when you need to. The windows on the wall and door both provide plenty of light, but the entire top of the shed is actually translucent skylights so it is very well lit and bright. My husband is also 6'4" tall and can comfortably walk around inside. We have had several spring storms bringing wind, snow, sleet, and rain since we assembled this shed and have had no issues with leaking water whatsoever! We had no problems assembling it, but just be aware it does take time. It took about 10 hours for my husband and I to put it together. I would definitely recommend assembling it on completely level ground. If it was unlevel it would be much more difficult to assemble. The manual was very clear and the directions were easy to follow. The parts were all labeled very well and easy to identify. The manual tells you exactly which parts you need for each step and even the hardware is separated into individual labeled bags for each stage of assembly. Overall, we are very happy with our shed! This outdoor storage shed is pretty complicated to build. It took me a couple of days to put together the floor and the walls, and I'm still not done because I realized a few parts are missing from the back wall, and the front wall part is about 3 inches shorter. So now I'm waiting for the missing parts and doing my best to make it work. My level of experience in assembling stuff is so-so, but I strongly recommend hiring people to build this because it's pretty complicated to build a shed like this that has over probably 100 parts that have to be meticulously assembled together. Also the boxes are delivered with box 3 on top which is good to access the installation instructions but the floor is in box 1 where we started. Screws and parts were in packages that didn’t match the instructions. Had to play hunt and seek for everything. The truss information in the instructions were wrong as only two trusses had the notch for the door but no reference for the other 2 matching trusses we had so ended up instead of removing the whole roof and taking an additional 4 hours we had to adjust the trusses for the door manually to accommodate the door swing - why all trusses aren’t the same is beyond me or the instructions were better. Shed looks great. Instructions and diagrams are so hard to understand. Took 5 days to put floor together, finally. Next came the walls, but once walls were going up, the floor started to buckle.
