The tension-mount design allows the gate to stay firmly in place with rubber stoppers without damaging wall surfaces. The gate door opens in both directions for ease of movement from room to room. The latched gate handle locks/unlocks easily with one hand. Now your pet can be safe and comfortable in any space with a doorway 32.1"-36” wide. Designed for dogs 8.8 - 44 lbs. Extension to add 4” of width sold separately. Before installation: At first glance, your gate will have a “V-shaped” gap between the gate door and the mainframe. This is not a defect. This gap will close properly as you tighten the adjuster knobs. The adjuster knobs are designed to control the entire setup of the gate once the adjuster bolts and extensions are set in place. This is part of the overall design of the tension-mount gate.

This door is used so that your pets do not go to places where you do not want them to be, such as not going to the street but being able to keep your door open. The instructions for assembling it are not clear at all but there are few pieces to join so you will understand how it is. In my case it cost me too much because the floor where I wanted to put it is uneven so I put it somewhere else. Its not that tall so a tall person would have to bend down. And its divided into two. I would say if you want to leave the top open but it didnt work for me, so I dont understand why the door is divided. Its functional. It looks like glass but its acrylic.. Claudia. Rego Park, NY. This gate is PERFECT! It's tall enough to keep the dogs out of the cat area, but just short enough we can still close the door to the room (lever door knob). The adjustable cat door is great and I love that it raises up and down rather than swinging out. I love that this gate door swings both ways since our cat box and food are in our mudroom, which gets used frequently. Installation took all of 5 minutes and I love that both expanders were included, so we could get the perfect fit. The lever is also easy to use. You squeeze the top and bottom buttons and lift a bit. 10/10 highly recommend!. Dustin. Rockfield, KY. Fri Jun 26 2026

Very annoying to put together, instructions could definitely be clearer. Don’t forget to not cut the zip ties until it’s installed or you’re gonna have a bad time. Doesn’t feel too stable either. Katie. Minneapolis, MN. Tue Apr 28 2026
