I absolutely love these gel memory foam mattresses. This is the third one we have purchased. They always expand to the advertised thickness. We think they are so extremely comfortable. This one is more firm than the ones we have purchased previously and I’m not sure why. However, I do think it is still comfortable and very supportive. Was a little worried on ordering a replacement sleeper mattress online without seeing it in person but this mattress is great. You’ll need to let it fully inflate so your sofa will be out of commission during that time. I bought two of these for a pop-up trundle bed for guest use since it claimed to join into a king size bed. That is a different story. These mattress came vacuum-sealed and expanded to almost full size by the time I got the plastic off. The topper is nice material and can be zipped off for easy cleaning. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. By the pictures of the mattress on rv beds in the description and the fact that I searched rv queen mattress , the mattress sent was not even close to what I expected. The mattress came in a manageable sized box. We were able to unbox without anyone getting decapitated. We allowed the mattress to “inflate” for 48 hours, then placed it on our new Wayfair queen sized frame. Our niece slept on it and said it was the most comfortable mattress she’s ever slept on.
