Great mattress pad! It came very well packaged in a condensed airtight container. We just purchased a new home and it sat in the garage waiting for me to arrive for several weeks – when opened smelled just as fresh as it would would’ve if I had opened it on day one. I was surprised when I opened it and realized just how thick the mattress pad was - was a bit of also a mattress topper. While I wondered if it was too thick, I figured I would try it prior to making any decisions. It was such a great additional padding. Terrific 100 percent cotton mattress protector! It fit like a glove and is padded with the softest cotton. It is difficult to find a mattress protector that is not made of some type of plastic. I understand people want the plastic to protect from spills. I did not want that. I simply wanted something more other than a thin sheet right against my new mattress. I was simply concerned about sweat going through the sheet and, over time, creating a mattress that may not be as "fresh." This mattress cover is the perfect solution! Well-sewn and crafted. And of course, Mayfair has super deals and this mattress protector was a super deal. You can't go wrong with this. My new mattress will always stay fresh now and for many years to come!. Stephanie. What a great buy! I placed the twin XL on top of an expensive mattress we bought that was sold to us by mattress firm, ended up being a fake medium (sales person assured us that it is in between plush and medium - it landed me in ER as a small built person who basically had me sleeping on a brick as far as my body is concerned resulted in musculoskeletal pain. I was told to sleep on it and it will get softer.) This mattress topper is an answer to my prayer - guided via an AI question and was provided as one of the 3 best options for my situation. HIGHLY recommend this product. Sleeping on cloud now. Great night sleep once again!!. Shirleen. Destin, FL. Wed Oct 14 2026
