This 4.5 foot sitting scarecrow features glowing red eyes that create an eerie presence for any Halloween display. The scarecrow suddenly raises its head to startle passersby, adding an unexpected shock factor. A built in male voice activates when the decoration detects nearby noise, responding to visitors with a creepy greeting. The removable bucket design allows for easy storage or alternative display options. This decoration is battery operated and does not include batteries, offering flexible placement anywhere without the need for an outlet.
I do really like this, however, it is extremely difficult for me to find the on and off switch. I cannot just feel for it because it is so small I have to unposition the scarecrow, turn him upside down, then lift his back clothing to be able to see to find it. Also, the legs are a bit difficult for me. I am trying to put him in a sitting position because I can stick the post from his back, through the middle of a stool that I have so it looks like hes sitting on it but as soon as he moves abruptly from sound activation, his legs pop out. I cant seem to straighten them or I may be just need to take more time and look to see what Im doing, I dont know if they are too flimsy or rigid. I think I may be able to use wire ties to hold them where I want them. I am excited to get him outside so he can scare the neighbors as they do their evening walks because he really is cool. I have a couple other outdoor decorations to set around him and I will try to add a picture after everything is set up.. J M. FL. Sat Oct 10 2026
