I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually prefer bedding with a soft, silky feel so that my skin does not catch against the fabric. For that reason, this duvet cover is not my personal favorite. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. This duvet is just beautiful. It’s 100% cotton and just silky to the touch. I really wouldn’t call it beige: it’s more of an ivory. There are good ties in each corner to secure the comforter inside. A soft and breathable fabric that is 100 cotton. Lovely to sleep under and rest your head on. The print is beautiful, I am unsure if it is navy blue or black, different lighting gives me a different tone but I like both. A design that I have never seen is a cover over the button holes, as shown in the picture. That adds quality to this set.
