We’re very happy with this gazebo. The finished product looks even better in person than in the photos and adds a modern, high-end look to our patio. The combination of the black steel frame and wood-tone posts complements our home beautifully, and it feels very sturdy and well-built. Assembly was straightforward. It took two people about 4 hours to complete the installation, and the instructions were easy to follow. All of the parts were well packaged and arrived in good condition. The frame lined up properly, and there were no major issues during assembly. Overall, this was an excellent purchase. It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. Sturdy and well made, instructions were fairly clear and with a one man assembly expect an all day project, but with 2 people who are fairly handy should be a breeze. I’d definitely recommend mounting it to something whether it be the side of a house or some solid structure, but definitely wouldn’t leave it as a stand alone. Should last for years to come. We installed this patio pergola over our concrete slab and it completely changed the feel of the backyard. The frame feels sturdy once anchored down and the size is perfect for a table and grill area. It provides just enough shade to make sitting outside comfortable while still letting in natural light, which we really like. Assembly took some time but the instructions were clear and all the parts lined up correctly. After installation it looks very clean and modern against the house — neighbors even asked where we bought it. It’s been through wind and sun already and everything still feels solid.
