We’re very happy with this gazebo. The finished product looks even better in person than in the photos and adds a modern, high-end look to our patio. The combination of the black steel frame and wood-tone posts complements our home beautifully, and it feels very sturdy and well-built. Assembly was straightforward. It took two people about 4 hours to complete the installation, and the instructions were easy to follow. All of the parts were well packaged and arrived in good condition. The frame lined up properly, and there were no major issues during assembly. Overall, this was an excellent purchase. It is definitely darker than the photos show, more of a very dark gray. I assume it will fade some to a lighter gray, similar to what is show. FYI - you will need to pre-purchase a 4x10, to cut in half. These will be used to place in holes dug roughly 36 inches deep and set in concrete. Hopefully that saves someone else a trip. We are very happy with our Backyard Discovery Beaumont 14x12 pergola! The only negative would be the time it took to arrive, which was about six weeks. Otherwise, it is very well made and looks beautiful. You need at least three people to put together. So I tried Wayfair after noticing my neighbor’s, got the same one only I ordered the pulldown screens for 2 sides. It also has a louvered metal roof ( huge improvement), we love it! Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all.
