This handrail returns to the wall at a 90 degree angle on both ends to comply to ada wall return requirements. The handrail is made from 1.5” round aluminum stock tube to allow for comfortable daily use. The endcaps are machined from aluminum for an elegant return that protects your wall. The distance projection from the face of the handrail to the wall when installed is approximately 3.75 inches. High strength construction meets load requirements of 200lbs or more. This whole line is beautiful and quality. One caveat...on the towel bars, the bar itself rolls around and placing the end pieces as close as possible on the wall, ie to 'squeeze' the bar, does not keep it from spinning around. We are planning to put some silicone or putty type material inside where bar end enters into the wall mount to keep it from spinning.
