These are just what I needed! They put together pretty well. I would recommend using wood glue for the pegs that hold the shelves on, just to make it a little sturdier. This is a basic cube shelf. It’s attractive and assembly was straightforward. I wanted something that would tuck into the closet space in my hobby room. The finish has a wood-grain look - it’s not a smooth finish so just be aware. One star off because a couple of the cam locks wouldn’t tighten properly and keep falling out. It’s like the cam dowels aren’t long enough for the bolt to “grab” it. So when I ordered this I thought it could be used vertical, which as shown in the picture can, but isn’t ideal. Unfortunately, we only have room in our youngest’s room to put it like vertical so we are making it work.
