It has a very wide square base so I’m not longer worried about it tipping however, when my cat gets to the very top basket and is moving around it appears to shake quite a bit - enough to make me a little nervous. The cat tree was to simple to put together because the instructions were well written. I only took an hour and the tools were included. No missing parts and went together well.
