If you have arthritis, you’re going to need help with assembly, as it takes some physical force with the hands on tools. I ordered 6 chairs total. 2 (one box) of the chairs were defective. I messaged Wayfair through the app, explaining what was wrong with the chairs with pictures added and they responded via text within 5 minutes. The resolution was very seamless. These bar stools are cute. The leather cushioned top feels nice and looks good (it says leather in the title, but it may be faux leather). However, these 2 stools took me an hour and a half to assemble. There are quite a few pieces to screw together. The directions are minimal, but with attention you can follow them. The only real problem was that non of the metal leg parts were labeled at all. So you had to figure that out on your own - that is the reason for 4 stars. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair.
