If I could give this negative stars I would. Not enough of the screws to assemble. The table is covered in over a dozen clusters of hammer or screw dings. The chair legs aren't the same length. The actual parts aren't made to fit the way they're supposed to on the table. When you contact them, they send you a YouTube video because the instructions in the box are wrong. When you tell them it's not the instructions, the pieces of the table are not right (example, attach a to b, but b Is about 4 inches too long and it goes sideways and there's not even holes like the picture shows to screw in). 8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. It is very big and easily the biggest and best for the price. Easy to assemble. The only concern I have is the uneven top surface. I might top it with something as I'm afraid someone will spill a drink. The little shelving area is perfect for the pretty things that I needed a spot to display. It made my kitchen look like a celebrity kitchen on a dime. You will need stools or bar chairs. Update. The surface is very hard to keep clean. everything gets into the grooves. I was a little skeptical because this Kitchen Island was fairly inexpensive. I opted to pay to have it assembled and that was done today. I love it. It has as much space as i hoped since it was only 43" long and the cabinets and drawers are ample size to hold a lot of kitchen items. This is so much more useful than the table and chairs for two that I had there before. The Island is sturdy, attractive and versatile. The stools are very comfortable. My only complaint is that before ordering I called Wayfair customer service to find out if I could purchase the item but delay delivery. The person i spoke to assured me that as soon as I had a tracking number I could contact Fed Ex and reschedule. I got the tracking number too late to stop the delivery which came in two days instead of three as noted on the order. Most people would not complain about this but I had a flight the day of delivery; luckily it arrived before I had to leave for the airport. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. I gave it four stars because the trash bin drawer is a little shaky so we added L brackets to give a little more stability to the drawer. Overall I think this was a great purchase.. Sandra.
