I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. This makes the modern black aesthetic stand out and remain clean and uninterrupted. I really appreciated this eye to detail.. Siv. Helena, MT. Mon Apr 13 2026

This unit features an adjustable thermostat and a front-releasing vent to distribute heat effectively. It also functions with or without the heating element engaged for year-round enjoyment. We love that the included remote control makes it easy to change settings from across the room.

This fireplace is so cool! There are so many features I didn't even know about when ordering it. So many color choices with the flame and ground lights! I went with the glass rocks instead of the log. But it's very easy to remove the glass cover to swap them out. The first fireplace arrived shattered. Wayfair was so easy to work with for a replacement...a new perfectly intact one arrived the next day.. Lauren. Evanston, IL. Sat Oct 17 2026

Touchstone Sideline steel electric fireplace takes all the features of Touchstone's popular Sideline glass-faced fireplace but brings it to you in a matte black steel face design, ideal for more traditional room settings. In place of the glass face of the standard Sideline, the Sideline steel offers a black steel frame, with the heating element and log set behind a classic fireplace screen, lending to its more classic look. It's ideal for dens, basements, or any room where a standard fireplace is being replaced or was never installed. The Touchstone Sideline steel electric fireplace was designed to meet the needs of contractors and do-it-yourself installers, who are looking for the realistic flame of a Touchstone fireplace mounted flush to a wall. By eliminating the glass surface, the design lends itself to less modern installations. Like standard Sidelines, the heating element is in the front of the fireplace, so the flame and heat vent are situated near each other. Add the metal fire screen to the 5100 BTUs of heat and you have a dramatically realistic flame set, all with no smokey smell or mess of a real fireplace. The Sideline steel has 2 heat settings (high and low) and will heat a room to 400 sq. ft. Also, the fireplace's flame can be used without the heating feature. The Sideline steel is easy to install and comes with simple and understandable instructions.

The Vibrance Smart Linear Electric Fireplace from Modern Ember works in spaces that most fireplaces can't, including apartments, rentals, and rooms without a gas line, and the frameless profile installs either recessed into a framed wall opening for a built-in appearance or surface-mounted on a bracket for a clean wall-hung look that doesn't require cutting into drywall. Neither approach needs a licensed contractor, and the surface-mount option keeps structural changes minimal, which matters when you're renting. The LED flame system runs independently from the heater, which matters more than it might seem, most households want the ambiance in summer but not the heat, and the Vibrance handles both modes without any workaround. When heat is on, the 1500W output covers supplemental warmth for rooms up to 400 square feet, and the thermostatic control keeps the temperature dialed to your preference rather than running at full blast. The clear crystal embers ship in the box, so the firebox looks finished without an additional purchase. Flame color, speed, and brightness are all adjustable through the Tuya Smart app, the included remote, or Alexa and Google Home voice commands.

Really great, except for the very weird "fire" crackling sound it makes which fortunately can be muted because I'm installing these in bedrooms!. Melissa. US. Fri May 08 2026
