Built-in overheat protection adds peace of mind for households with children or pets, so you can relax and enjoy the realistic logs and dancing flames in complete comfort.

I ordered this and assembled it for a family member. The mantel needs to be assembled and it took about an hour. All you really need is a screwdriver. The material was a decent quality and it fit together well. Even the faux stone surround, which I thought could look cheesy, looks good. Mounting the electric insert was probably the most "challenging" and that only took a handful of screws. Overall the recipient was very pleased with it. The built-in heater works well for a small room space. We like that it has a timer so you can "set and forget" it, especially if one has a habit of falling a sleep in their living room chair. We gifted the recipient a small stand-alone speaker that makes a variety of fire crackling sounds. While no one would mistake these for real fireplaces, they are much safer, cleaner, and can still create a cozy and relaxing atmosphere.. Brian. NJ. Mon Oct 12 2026

The logs are hand molded and individually painted to look like real split wood, and the multi-layered LED flames flicker behind the grate with enough depth to look natural in photos and in person. Every size can run the flames without heat, so the fireplace stays decorative year-round. When the room needs warmth, the built-in heater adds supplemental heat for spaces up to 400 sq.ft.

I love it! It looks like realistic logs during the day. And in the evening the glowing embers and flame effect look very realistic and amazing. I’m do agree with others that the crackling sound is not realistic so we don’t turn it on. The other thing we did was place a small metal can (altoids can) under the back side to lean it forward a little, so the flames shoot higher. That is a personal preference though.. Jennifer. Glendale, CA. Fri Jun 19 2026

Far exceeded my expectations, this has just the look I needed to fit in with my vintage vibe.. Kim. MI. Thu Jun 04 2026
