so far it is keeping cold. the freezer space is cut down with the extra ice maker,if i leave it off and use the extra room, i am in fear that the ice may not start working again. i really like it,but it might not start working if it is left off to long. so i have been informed by LG. I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. We purchased this refrigerator in 2021 because we needed a specific size to fit inside our house. So far (2026) the refrigerator is working well. I appreciate that the shelves are easily adjustable and are easy to clean. The hidden door feature is probably my favorite part of the unit because it allows easy access to often-grabbed items like drinks and condiments. The ice maker and water option on the front is also great, and I like that I can set different temperature zones for the main fridge and for the drawer below it. The only two features that I find frustrating are the double icemaker. The Round ice balls in the freezer take up a lot of room that I would gladly have for storage instead. The ice balls are produced slowly and I feel pretentious offering them to guests. I like the Design, Spacious Interior, and Quiet Operation. After comparing several counter-depth refrigerators, I decided to purchase the LG STUDIO SRFB27S3, and I'm very happy with my decision. The biggest surprise was how spacious the interior is. Even though it's a counter-depth model, the storage capacity is excellent. The shelf layout is well designed, making it easy to organize groceries, large containers, and beverages without feeling cramped. The design is another standout feature. The clean, modern look fits perfectly in our kitchen, and the PrintProof stainless steel finish does a great job resisting fingerprints, making it easy to keep clean. Performance has also been excellent. The refrigerator cools quickly, maintains a consistent temperature, and operates very quietly. We hardly notice it's running. The ThinQ app is a nice bonus, allowing me to monitor the refrigerator remotely. The only adjustment was getting used to the internal water dispenser and ice maker. At first, I preferred an external dispenser, but after using it for a while, I actually appreciate the cleaner appearance and the extra storage space inside. Overall, this refrigerator offers an excellent combination of style, functionality, and performance. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium counter-depth refrigerator with a surprisingly spacious interior. Lastly, the delivery servicemen were very professional. I love my refrigerator, especially the pullout drawer under the double doors. Also, my son loves the double ice makers in 2 sizes. On the left double door in the right corner is a lever that opens the door to access the water there is also a pitcher you can fill with water. There are also some shelves that you can use for other items. I paid for the refrigerator to be installed, but when it was delivered there was no mention of installing my Refrigerator. The refrigerator sat in my garage for about 3 weeks and no one called me about installing my refrigerator. I did call to schedule installation, but no one called me to make an appointment. I even paid 50 to have the old refrigerator removed. My son is the person who installed the refrigerator for me. It took him several hours to install as he had to remove the doors to make it fit.
