The Standard Height 5-Piece Dining Set is perfect for your weeknight dinners and family gatherings. Designed with mid-century modern flavor. This set includes one round dining table and four side chairs. The dining table is created from solidwood and manufactured wood and finished in a walnut veneer and showcases the iconic mid-century tapered legs. The side chairs combine solid wood and manufactured wood and upholstery for a vintage flair. The Dining Table Set will enhance the look of your home.

The sunburst veneer top is beautiful but the top is thin as compared to the legs. Since I do DYI carpentry, I got an extra top, routed it out to a ring, enough to clear the hardware to attach the legs, screwed it to the underside of the existing top, and then attached the legs. Vendor should consider this instead of a Wayfair hack! See my photo! After months of usage, I discovered the top is abnormally vulnerable to scratches. Moreover, once scratched, the white "scars" eliminate the design and even DIY efforts do not allow coverage with normal stains. What is needed is to cover the whole surface with a dull polyethylene finish to protect the design with normal use. I cannot edit my five stars but would if I could: * * *. Ksc. Newyork City. This 5-piece dining set brings vintage-inspired charm to your space with four side chairs and a fixed dining table. It's built with a solid wood table top resting on an engineered wood cross-buck pedestal base. Four side chairs showcase classic double-cross backrests and subtly curved solid wood legs. High-density cushions wrapped in a polyester blend upholstery offer supportive seating for everyday meals with family. Plus, the table top features a waterproof surface that makes cleaning up after dinners quick and easy.

I love this table. It's heavy and feels sturdy. The only thing that upset me is that they shipped it with cloth straps that were stapled to the underside of the table. I understand it probably kept it safer for shipping however the staples were very hard to remove and left some damage to the table, even if no one can see underneath I feel that is disappointing..
