I love this bookcase. It looks fantastic in my office and classier than other bookcases at a similar price range. It's tall and I've made use of all 6 shelves. The instructions were very clearly laid out and easy to follow. It comes with black stickers to completely cover up any hardware. The only issue I had was that I was tapping in a dowel with a hammer and it went through the siding; i covered it up with stickers so nobody knows but don't use a hammer on the dowels and you'll be good.. I wish furniture manufacturers would stop to consider that not every piece of furniture is going to be put against a wall, so it would be nice to have a decent backing. The back of this bookcase is some sort of shiny, vinyl covered panel and the color is awful. Maybe it was meant to be faux marble, but they missed by a mile. The quality seems good for the price My main concern is that the finish is supposed to be cherry, but it looks more like espresso. My other cherry furniture is somewhat lighter with red-tones. Product is well designed and easy to assemble. Unfortunately, one of the shelves had a small splinter that broke off on the front facing edge.
