The smell is so strong, it will permeate your entire home. To continue with other aspects, some assembly is required, but it not difficult. The directions were pretty poor and the provided floor guide does not work with the closet doors (the closet doors don’t reach the ground, slightly shorter than 80 inches). The cost of the doors and labor together were well-worth it, though -- our contractor is sending a picture of the doors to other clients, as they are sure to be a popular replacement in our condo community. :).
