The smell is so strong, it will permeate your entire home. To continue with other aspects, some assembly is required, but it not difficult. Our office entry way is huge, 84W by 89H, so we needed the largest size door this had to offer. Pro - the doors were super easy to assemble and the material is heavy duty. Con - definitely took 2 people to assemble the rail track and lift the doors, challenging to get the rail perfectly level and studded into the wall securely, I am still slightly concerned we don't have enough reinforcement holding it up with a basic 1x6 headboard as suggested on the instructions. Updating to edit- the doors were great out of the box, but once we got them hung, they started coming apart around the shaker trim/molding. We’ve tried using wood glue and clamps to secure it but it keeps pulling apart. We’re left with non-functioning doors. Doors look great! Single-track bypass hardware is simple and super easy to install when there is not enough space. Upgraded hardware kits offer a smart solution when an ordinary double-door bypass kit fails. Get rid of that bulky bracket, time and money-wasting hardware kit. A project would be much quicker and easier.

I actually did not realize these doors required assembling when I first purchased them. Thankfully, they were pretty easy to assemble, you do the frame first and then the pieces slide in together tongue & groove. They are not as thick as normal doors and the pieces rattle a little when you open/close the doors.
